It has been brought to our attention that we made use of program notes by Richard Freed from Maryland, U.S.A.  in our program of June 2007 without his permission.  We also edited these notes, again without his permission which altered context and sense of these notes.  We would like to apologise for this inexcusable oversight and offer an assurance that any future program notes will be checked to ensure that we are within copyright rules.

Händel's Messiah 'from Scratch'

Dundee Symphony Orchestra invites all choirs, choral societies, singers and string players to join for Handel's Messiah 'from Scratch'. The performance will take place on Saturday 14 Febuary 2009, 2-6pm in St Paul's Cathedral in Dundee.

The 'Past Events' section of the page has been updated - all concert programmes, posters and reviews dating back to 2003 are now available. More to come soon.

The Orchestra's last concert (1 June 2008) was recorded by BBC RADIO 3 and a part of it will be broadcasted on Wednesday, 1st of October, 7.00-9.15pm.
